Bucolic Brooklyn

So green and atmospheric is our local waterway, the Gowanus Canal! On Saturday I went to the Bklyn Yard, on Carroll Street, where popular local food vendors were serving from their trucks. I don’t do well with lines, so it’s a good thing the scenery was satisfying. The event was well attended, and the crowd was orderly and patient, though unmoved by the hardworking DJ. A 45 minute wait for food will do that. Bklyn Yard is a nice venue in warm weather, like an overgrown backyard.
