This has to be one of the most banged up police and fire call boxes I’ve seen. It’s located on a quiet, semi-industrial corner near the Gowanus Canal and the Carroll Street bridge. You can see actually using it.

This has to be one of the most banged up police and fire call boxes I’ve seen. It’s located on a quiet, semi-industrial corner near the Gowanus Canal and the Carroll Street bridge. You can see actually using it.
The painting on the top of the firebox makes it looks like its got a face, complete with a crooked grin at the bottom.
Seems that if a car hit this thing, it should be leaning the OTHER way though, right? AWAY from the street, not towards??
