Under the umbrellas, in the side yard of the bagel store, is the Gowanus Yacht Club, open seasonally. Membership happens when you walk through the entrance, and in case you’re not familiar with Brooklyn, there are no yachts, and the Gowanus is an filthy industrial canal that has just been superfunded. Continue the irony – order and enjoy a cold PBR and a hot dog.

Bagels! Yum. Nice photo!
