By the time I got off the F Train, the storm had moved through Park Slope. Traffic was slow on Fourth Avenue, and people were surveying the damage, sweeping up. Trees were down, some cars were smashed, and leaves and litter were everywhere. Part of this laundromat’s brick facade came down. An ambulance was on the scene, but everyone seemed okay; a few people were still inside doing wash.
We are glad that the Brooklynpix Blogger was safe from the storm that hit Park Slope so hard. Parts of Queens were hit very hard too.
Thx. It was hairy, all right.
