There may not be dozens of restaurants called La Isla Cuchifritos – as there are Ray’s pizza – but there are a handful competing to be number one in the cuchifrito category. In case you don’t know, cuchifritos, traditional fried pork dishes, are a favorite of Puerto Ricans and Dominicans.
