The money spoke to me

But in lieu of a secret message that might solve my problems, the writing on the money said:  3 ft 4 wide, 44 long. Measurements, that’s what was on the ten spot. But if it’s referring to inches, why doesn’t it say 40 wide, 44 long? No matter, I’m through pondering; I spent the bill.
