We knew Metrotech to be many things: a place of office buildings, tech schools, public art, Tkts location, and a walkway between avenues. Now they are revealing its true personality, as a vortex of technology, architecture, and commerce. NYU bought the huge brown building in the background and is going to turn it into a science center.
