Enjoy the bright leaves, they’ll soon be all off the trees. The sun is going down before 5:00 PM, with daylight savings; now it feels like it’s officially fall. This year the merchants didn’t even wait for Halloween to be over before they got out the Christmas decorations. That’s the other indicator that there’s been a change of season.

Even if it’s been given the happiest face ever, any pumpkin that’s carved more than two weeks before Halloween is going to look scary by the end of October.
