Is it a worldwide phenomenon, the urge to eat in the car, or do Americans feel the urge more than most drivers? The price of gas is up for the holiday season; in the city it’s going for $3.29 a gallon, give or take a dime.
Prospect Park diorama

Prospect Park was a scene out of the Museum of Natural History yesterday. Lifelike mallards were “swimming” around in the indigenous grasses while humans safely viewed them from the other side of the glass.

M is for the first letter of Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Everyone calls it the subway, though, or the *%#@*! subway if it’s running late or not getting you where you want to go.
