Black cars getting gas and pedestrians, that was the scene out around 36th Street. The weather was sticky, so maybe people stayed inside.

Car service cars can legally pick up passengers in Brooklyn as of last week. I thought this was already legal. My advice: ask the price before you’re seated in the car, not when you reach your destination.
