It’s going to be gray and unsettled today, but the sun is going to be shining as hot as a cupcake. Tomorrow we should see more normal conditions.

Downtown Atlantic, makers of fine cupcakes before cupcakes took over the world, is no more. The window lettering remains, but the space on Atlantic Avenue is for rent. It’s sad to see another local business go under.
Found object: Red velvet litter

From a distance this cupcake paper looked like a discarded flower. Up close, it was just a picnic to which I wasn’t invited. But no worries, because I don’t understand this red velvet cake craze. It’s not chocolate or any flavor; the color is from red food coloring.
