The movie theater on Court Street is sending out cryptic messages again. Hmmmm… the R-rated teddy bear movie made $54 million last weekend and was number one at the box office, even though the critics were not so impressed.

If it’s warm and you can’t find your warm-weather clothes, you may want to pick up the scissors and improvise. Cut-offs have been around as long as blue jeans. Is this woman giving me an obscene gesture, btw?

You’d think we were farmers here in NYC, the way we carry on about the weather. But it really was cold today! I don’t think the temperatures made it above the mid-twenties. If it looks like someone’s laughing, his or her face probably froze in that position yesterday.

The people I saw on Atlantic Avenue this weekend were not going out of their way to shop; they were exhibiting usual behavior: taking, texting, walking, or doing all of those things at the same time.

Some drivers bully pedestrians, as if they are a match for a couple thousand pounds of vehicle. It’s very frustrating if you’re the one on foot.
