The view from the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Court Street. The building across the street, which is now Trader Joe’s, used to be a bank.

All I can do is shiver by the window and watch the people and buses go by. Looks like we’ve got a few more days of this chilly weather ahead.

The movie theater on Court Street is sending out cryptic messages again. Hmmmm… the R-rated teddy bear movie made $54 million last weekend and was number one at the box office, even though the critics were not so impressed.

If it’s warm and you can’t find your warm-weather clothes, you may want to pick up the scissors and improvise. Cut-offs have been around as long as blue jeans. Is this woman giving me an obscene gesture, btw?
Too cold to laugh

The people I saw on Atlantic Avenue this weekend were not going out of their way to shop; they were exhibiting usual behavior: taking, texting, walking, or doing all of those things at the same time.

Some drivers bully pedestrians, as if they are a match for a couple thousand pounds of vehicle. It’s very frustrating if you’re the one on foot.

Summer is not just a time for barbecues and fun in the sun. Make time for an occasional deep thought or you’ll be inundated with them when autumn comes.

It may be gray, but it’s not too cold, either. Seems like there are a lot of vacant stores on Atlantic Avenue.
