What should you do? Restaurants need customers on days like this, but it’s painful to see the delivery guys riding bikes and scooters on snowy streets. The temperature is about 15, so going to pick up the food is not an option.

Snow day @ Green-Wood

Green-Wood Cemetery was closed to visitors today because the roads were icy. A walk along the fence turned up an interesting found object, though. New Year’s Eve was three weeks ago, and today was the first real snow of the season.

Gloves might be nice

In the city, people know they don’t have to rough it, so many consider gloves and hat optional unless it’s really nasty out. The guy on the phone is a daredevil, though, crossing a slippery street with his spare hand in his pocket.

The snow is getting wetter and more compacted every day. But don’t worry, we may have a few more inches tomorrow! Note the green dot on the tree to the right – could indicate limbs will be trimmed soon.
