The rain moved down Seventh Avenue from Park Slope, but tables got pushed under umbrellas and young families mingled with hipsters and others at Greenwood Park. The beer garden seems to be working, and the food’s not bad, either.

It was so humid and gray that over-sleeping occurred, which in turn delayed a trip to the beach. Motivation deficit flourished; a visit to a pet shop took place instead. Naturally I stopped by the tank of this inquisitive fish which just looked at me and mouthed the word, “Why?”

Yogo is definitely the most appealing food truck on the streets right now. Frozen yogurt seems so much healthier than Mr. Softee – that’s what they want us to to believe!

When there’s an important announcement, like what the Brooklyn Nets’ line-up will be, the steps of Borough Hall are a perfect setting. On this day, Borough Hall is looking, to me, like a college campus. No one, not even a lawyer, should have to wear a suit when it’s above 90 degrees, though.

Rebar, in Dumbo, is mostly (duh) a bar. The menu is appealing, but there’s generally a problem of thinking about food when the temperature is in the 90’s outside. I don’t think the tripe is too popular lately. These cakes, on the other hand, look magnificent, almost tempting.

Should I worry? Every time I pay attention to my surroundings there is a Vespa within fifteen feet. I think the answer is clear – if I were more cognizant, I might find out something I didn’t want to know.
