Nice sky last night, as seen from the passenger’s seat. That’s the antenna to the right. To ride in my friend’s car is to listen to the Mets games, but it was okay, they managed to win.

Though inbound F Train riders have to go over a bridge and wait on a newly-built platform, they are lucky. There’s no interruption in service, unlike at Smith and Ninth, where trains won’t be stopping for about a year. Plus, riders have gained a new and slightly elevated view from the bridge.

A beautiful sunset. The Verrazano is visible in the distance, at the left. And those twig shapes on the rooftops? Old TV antennas. Ask your parents about them and the role of aluminum foil in television reception.
