Its parents would be trying to get it into the public school kindergarten up the street. Full-day, half-day, they’ll take anything! But a five-year-old cookie will have to sit in the cookie tin a while longer until I figure out what to do with it.

The twelth day of Christmas

Re-gift, return, recycle, that’s what the 12th day of Christmas is about. Sing the carol again if you must, then throw away or stow away the tree if you haven’t already done so. This fractured cookie traveled through several states to get to New York. I’m trying to let it not go to waste, but adults found it too sweet, and many kids were turned off by the red hots.
