Movies are opening at a fast and furious pace for the next few days. This year there are some that are getting excellent reviews. I think they are for grown-ups, though, so buy the kids lots of candy and drag them along. Go to the tiger movie if you’re worried about violence or reading subtitles out loud.

The movie theater on Court Street is sending out cryptic messages again. Hmmmm… the R-rated teddy bear movie made $54 million last weekend and was number one at the box office, even though the critics were not so impressed.

Get a sandwich and drink, put it in the bottom of your backpack, then take it into the movies. The theater has no rules, so don’t worry about getting caught. Call and text your friends seeing the movie one over and make plans for later.
