That’s a patriotic carnation, left on a grave for Veteran’s Day, that is now among the leaves at Green-Wood Cemetery.

These flowers will look just as good a year from now as today. It’s not clear what the price on these is, because if you bought a fat bunch and paid 99 cents for each flower, it would be cheaper to buy real flowers and try to enjoy their fleeting beauty.
