On a related topic, the weekend thaw of the snow piles has resulted in a surprising amount of garbage and gloves on the sidewalk. I think there’s a connection between the litter and the gloves, but I can’t be sure.

I like vowels

The letter E is popular because it’s a vowel. Still, there was no explanation why this letter was on the sidewalk outside a fast food place. It looks like the lowest bar of the E is contemplating a getaway, but for where?

Let me share this broken shuttlecock with you. I’m short on pictures of Brooklyn at the moment and this has been sitting on the counter waiting for some attention. I guess it can be recycled with the plastics?

Cute kid, cute horse. The photo I found was little, so there were probably a few of them; I’d feel bad if I found an 8 x 10 of this. I’d also feel bad if the person holding the horse were wearing Livestrong bracelets.

Seen on the pavement. Discarded Little Trees often come in sets. There was a yellow one nearby, but it had white letters printed on a yellow background, so I couldn’t tell what its scent was, and I wasn’t going to get real close and read it.
