Getting in the Halloween spirit with a giant lucha libre mask in the paper store’s window. For some, Mexican wrestling combines the best possible things: men in tights, brawling, and colorful masks, which make it seem more fun and less contrived than wrestling in the US.

The Park Slope Halloween Parade benefited from a few noisy and festive bands. Politicians (i.e., Chuck Schumer) showed up in anticipation of Election Day on Tuesday, but it was mostly about dressing up, getting in the spirit (or being the spirit), and walking down the avenue.
