It’s the 12th Day of Christmas, aka Epiphany, aka just another Friday, but TGIF. These plastic figurines are nice and cozy in the living room, just steps away from the basement, where they’ll hang out until next December.

Street trees have to put up with a lot. But, at the same time, I’d say that someone loves this one quite a bit to give it this kind of careful and balanced treatment.

It’s not the moving arms or the buck teeth. What makes this snowman really creepy are the light bulb eyes. They see our souls and know we don’t take them (the snow-folk) seriously.

Early in the AM, it’s just buses and pedestrians along Fulton Street. Only the delis are open. If you want to shop at the trashy stores, you’ll have to come back later in the morning.
