Cold, wet weather is problematic for picture taking. But from inside the deli I’ve transformed Church Avenue into a fine looking shopping plaza. Tame your enthusiasm, though. The name brands at the 1/2 Price Outlet aren’t any you have ever heard of.

Another day, another neighborhood of shop windows at night. This place is selling dresses and saris, and not worrying about the mannequins or the ambiance.

You see the horses in Prospect Park, but do you know where they live? The Kensington Stables are a few blocks away from the park, toward Coney Island, on a quiet residential side street.

Church Avenue and McDonald is a major neighborhood intersection. The shops and flat landscape aren’t too interesting, but there are often some unusual characters hanging out or passing through.

It’s something in the air, or perhaps something from Mother’s Deli & Grocery, that is causing sleepwalking on Church Avenue. (A name like Mother’s is so wholesome that it could make one suspicious….)

I’ve seen a few nativity scenes recently. This one’s traditional, showing signs of wear. Most importantly, Jesus seems to be missing. I will check back later to see if he makes a last-minute appearance.
I like pizza & trees

My idea was to capture fall leaf color and pizza making all at once. Instead, I hint at both (or neither). The diminishing number of pizza outlets has left me dispirited and suspicious. It’s probably time I ate something from Korner again.
