Maybe it won’t help, but maybe it will. But when was the cat lost? Is the cat male or female? We want some background. What might this handsome not-too-skinny, not-too-fat creature be called? Is the owner worried we are going to misuse the information?

If I had my druthers, I’d rather see a picture of a cat rather than know its name; it seems more useful in looking for it. The traffic around the Transit Museum is worrisome . This sign won’t stay up long; the US Postal Service will have you know it’s a federal offense to affix anything to a mailbox, even when the subject is a missing feline.

She’s gray and looks like a pen and ink drawing. This shouldn’t be an impediment to finding her. The sign tells us what we need to know:  a friendly gray cat with green eyes and white face and paws has wandered off. And a piece of her left ear is gone. I think Millie’s had some adventures before this one. Time to go home, girl.

This handsome tabby has been wandering in the vicinity of 11st Street, and Cathy is looking for him. Paco sounds like a nice cat, so I hope someone invited him inside for a meal and some petting and soon returns him to his home.
