On a related topic, the weekend thaw of the snow piles has resulted in a surprising amount of garbage and gloves on the sidewalk. I think there’s a connection between the litter and the gloves, but I can’t be sure.

Avoid the sorrow of them-there kittens! Hurry down to the Salvation Army on Atlantic Avenue and go over by the coffee cups. Don’t stop to ask why, just grab these clips, pay your $1.07, and you’ll have the same mittens all winter long. Don’t let hipsters get a look at these things, though; they might get jealous of your retro-cool.

In Mittenland, finding a rare pair like this like hitting three cherries on the slots at Vegas. They won’t make you rich, but if the owner doesn’t come back to claim them, another kid can put them to use.
