I’m not counting the roses by the fountain. What we need are some colorful annuals. The grass is looking lush and green, after a few days of rain, in any case. I think a little patience is called for. We will see flowers eventually.

These flowers will look just as good a year from now as today. It’s not clear what the price on these is, because if you bought a fat bunch and paid 99 cents for each flower, it would be cheaper to buy real flowers and try to enjoy their fleeting beauty.
