It’s nice to know that even though the neighborhood is getting spiffed up on account of the Barclay’s Center, there’s still cheap and questionable food to be found nearby.

Maybe diners don’t know what to make of the Mexican/Japanese menu, and that’s why the restaurant is not crowded. I thought my burrito was good, in a simple kind of way. Drinks are really cheap until 8:00 PM. I’ll definitely go back to Luna’s (5th Ave. @ 20th Street).

All of a sudden it’s too cold for sidewalk dining. Shorts after dark are scant for many of us. The doors are flung open because the indoor temperature is about 90 from the tortillas on the flat-top grill.
