We’ve had two mini-snowstorms in four days. That’s a lot of snow for December, even if it didn’t really accumulate or stay on the ground long. I walked around a bit and went to a familiar place, the gas station.

From the ye olde publicity department, here’s a photo of the big-sky gas station. The gas wasn’t selling, but the coffee and snacks in the convenience store were.

The cars in line stretch for blocks, and no one can say when the gas might come in. Some stations don’t have enough electricity to pump the gas they have. Don’t call a car service; they are stuck, too. Our best hope right now is public transportation.
Big & pink (someone can’t read)

All we need now is a television and extension cord running to the gas station convenience store. I heard these donation bins were a racket – the charities don’t really get the money from your castaway items. People, buy less stuff! You didn’t need this pink pillow EVER, and once it was in your house, you should have had to live with it FOREVER.

Light rain, fog, low visibility, periods of heavy rain – that’s what it’s been like this week. The 3-day weekend is almost here and they say the sun may come out now and then.

Can’t help it; every so often I need to take a picture of a gas station at night. For $2.52, you can buy a large quantity of Coke to drink in the car.

Shocking news: there’s a new coffee shop on Ft. Hamilton Parkway between East 2nd and 3rd Streets. They have good coffee and vegan options. This is important neighborhood news, since Mobil On the Run starting carrying those nasty Royal brand donuts instead of the Krispies, we’ve been looking for options.

A different view of my favorite gas station. As a non-driver, I buy more coffee than gas from this place.

Kosher Donuts to go

The cashier blamed the distributor for the switch to kosher donuts. Royal is in and Krispy Kreme is out at the On the Run convenience store. I’ll withhold my judgment until my taster gets to work, but these bad boys look more rugged than the Krispies.
