Smiling Pizza is in a good spot – there are not many pizza places left AND they are on a good corner. Plus, Smiling Pizza makes a tolerable slice and it won’t set you back too much.

The food’s inside this time of year; it’s quite a scene in the dining room. Everyone with a car in Brooklyn eventually ends up at L&B Spumoni Gardens on 86th Street some time. Square pizza’s what L&B is famous for, but they have a full menu of Italian food.

Finally, the pizza place on Fourth Avenue fixed their sign. For months it looked like nothing but a broken sign. This is certainly minimal and direct. Come and get your greasy pepperoni pizza, everyone!
