The weather was crummy – snowy and blowy – mid-afternoon. Maybe not exactly a Wite-Out, but it got me thinking… about the number of people who believe that Bob Dylan’s mother invented the correction fluid.

I close my eyes and I see snow. There may be more this weekend, on Sunday. Maybe then we’ll get to have some spring?

The Friday snowstorm: last of the season? It didn’t add up to much and looked nice coming down. I think I’m having (prematurely) nostalgia for the winter and the snow that didn’t fall.

The best part was when the snow was just starting to fall. There was nothing to do but wait and see how much it would be. No use watching TV because they had nothing new to say.

No one’s set foot in this lot for a couple days. There have been plenty of gray days this fall/winter, so I’m glad to have two inches of snow to lighten the scene up.

It’s hard not to have mixed feelings about the snow when you go to Prospect Park and everything looks like a photo op.

The snow on top of the van is making it look stubbier than it actually is. Mileage is poor, there’s some rust going on, and no license plates, but think of the fun that could be had in this rumpus room on wheels!

That bulldog has an agenda and the muscle to get to get his way. He cares not a whit that the water on the street leaves gray spatters on everything, even a lovely fur coat and a face only a mother could love.

If the fence gate weren’t locked, there would be footprints all over. Something about an untouched expanse of snow is enticing, even after this crazy, record-breaking month of snowfall NYC has had.
