Red and yellow are the colors of fast food, but the business here is yellow cabs only. This taxi company used to pile the cars four-deep on the curb, but since this stretch of Fourth Avenue got fancier, the neighbors must have made them clean up their act.

Now, it’s just raining. But on top of the snow, walking and driving are tricky in places. Stay off the road if you can, even if you’re driving a taxi.

While we’re being urban Eskimos and eating breakfast out of paper bags, that ad for Buenos Aires on top of a taxi pops up again. Today in Buenos Aires, it’s 82 degrees, might get a little warmer, but overcast. I’m pretty sure the taxi crossed the Brooklyn Bridge just to rub it in my face.
