Percy Jackson, fictional teen, is a demi-god; his mother is human and is father is Poseidon. Saw the movie (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief) yesterday. Here, Poseidon, en route to the Empire State Building, emerges from the water at Coney Island. As usual, the NY we know is reduced to a cartoon version. The movie was better than I expected, though.
