Really, this has got to be, hands-down, Brooklyn’s finest boathouse. It looks more wintery than spring-like, but give it time. There are daffodils blooming in the park right now.

The Cleft Ridge tunnel, built in 1871-72, is one of the most ornate in Prospect Park. It connects Concert Grove and the area around the boathouse. Architecturally, it’s notable for being the first concrete arch.
