We call these red licorice, though others will argue that they aren’t licorice at all. I chanced upon this arrangement in the street around 6:45 PM. It looks like one person was explaining parallel lines to another then gave up when some cars came through.

The red Twizzler is looking worse for the wear, but will likely make happy a dog/child whose human/parent is not paying much attention.
