Saturday was AGAST, Annual Gowanus Artists Studio Tour. It was a fun afternoon – a lot of the art was outstanding. This roller coaster sculpture, by Traci Talasco, caught my eye because of its creative use of materials (rug and hand-built scaffolding). It’s a segment of a larger piece that is going to be at Brooklyn’s Rotunda Gallery in January. Talasco deals humorously with domestic themes in her work.
