On Smith Street, half the restaurants were closed today – the Monday thing. Tough luck for people who are ready to spend money and get some food. Fortunately Oaxaca Tacos was open.

Back in the day we had to cook our own food or go to the store. It was tough, man! Now all you have to do is point at what you want to eat, then pay. This halal food truck is parked near the President Street stations of the F and G Trains. The food looks okay, as long as you like tomatoes and onions, which appear in almost every picture.

These leg warmers are the brightest thing on the block. I don’t think leg warmers would have made a fashion comeback were it not for skinny jeans and leggings – the leg warmers can cover the awkward collision of shoe-tops and pants.
