These signs are for bus changes, but nearby you’ll find some postings about the subways, too. Work is being done this weekend on approximately three-quarters of the city’s subway lines. The MTA says they need to perform repairs, etc. before winter and cold weather arrive. For riders, a half-hour ride might take an hour and require a few subway changes and/or a bus ride. Fortunately, there are lots of MTA personnel out to give directions and help riders.
