I’m not shopping there until it’s fifty percent off. This store, in its lifetime, has been a series of discount stores, and it might be again. I know I should have bought those Texas slippers when I had a chance.

Don’t mess with Texas slippers

Before I noticed the outline of the Lone Star state on the red part of the slipper, I thought the flag on top might be Puerto Rican. In Brooklyn, Puerto Ricans far outnumber Texans. However, the items for sale at discount stores defy logic, and when it’s chilly outside, your dogs don’t care what’s decorating the slippers that are keeping them toasty.
Same colors, star on blue background, red and white stripes: there are similarities between the flags.
