There are many, many stores for rent in Borough Park. Some, like this donut/doughnut store stand out because of its quirky style. Mr. Donut favored the chocolate-frosted cake donuts; that’s about all I can tell. Oh, and there was Coke and coffee to wash the inner-tubes down, too.

The bus is practical for some routes, but it can be slow, too, and claustrophobic. Sometimes you want to make a quick exit out the back door and just start running, regardless of your destination.

Many things, when you pause and look, are school-bus yellow: the walk sign, taxis, and the On the Run sign. Inside the store, there are probably also some food products related to cheese that are the same color, but I’ll save that research for another day.

You can see many things from the bus; it’s just a little smeared. This is no ordinary car wash, it’s the Vegas Auto Spa. The understand the “spa” but not the “Vegas.” Could be that the car thing eludes me – I’m sitting on the B67 after all.

That flag is really blocking the view out the bus, so it’s just as well there isn’t much to look at. We know the long weekend is coming up and don’t need the flag to remind us! By Monday, Memorial Day, we’ll feel a little patriotic.
