The deli claims it’s open 24 hours a day, though they appeared to be partly closing down operations at 9:30 PM. I could make an excursion there at 3:00 AM some time to see… nah, I’ll take their word for it.

Nothing wrong with decorating the windows, but it’s three weeks until Valentine’s Day. When the Christmas decorations come down, a window can look so empty and sad. After Valentine’s there’s Easter, the 4th of July….

In an urn, on a small wire table… but yes, we may have noticed that the tree is one step up from Charlie Brown’s. The blinking lights fooled us for a moment. It’s the nicest tree on the block, though!

This is the only park I know of in the city with no name. It’s where the Sherman Street footbridge meets Ocean Parkway. This picture was taken on a typical day – popularity has eluded the Park.
