On Bergen Street, off Smith, there’s a building with a lot of personality. The blue wooden door, comprised of two smaller doors, one larger than the other, especially draws attention. It has a farmhouse feel, but it’s more likely a remnant of commercial or light industrial use. This block used to have a number of welding and ironworking businesses. You know, before the yuppies moved in and tried to take over all the real estate.
